ADMISSION TO MBA FULL TIME/PART-TIME / EXE-PG DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMES – 2009 –10
INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES
1.ADMISSION: Applications are invited for admissions to MBA(Part-time) course for the academic year 2009-10 offered at Kakinada campus of JNTU KAKINADA. The number of seats available in the MBA(PT) course is 25. Candidates with requisite qualifications are eligible to apply. Candidates with experience will be given preference in case of MBA (PT). The order of priority in selection for admissions shall be (i). Rank in ICET – 2009 (ii). Marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Applications received in response to these notifications in the prescribed format will only be considered. No other requests for admission will be entertained.
2. RESERVATIONS : Reservation of SC/ST/BC categories will be as per rules. 33 1/3% of seats are reserved for women in all categories.

iii) No scholarship /stipend is offered by the University.
3 FEE PARTICULARS:
a.Registration fee of Rs. 500/- to be paid in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in the name of “The
Registrar, JNT University Kakinada” payable at Kakinada, at the time of submitting the application.
b.Tuition fee for M.B.A (Part-time) Programme as per Govt. rules
4. APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE FOLLOWING:
i) Bank Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- (separate application for each course applied);
ii) Attested copy of degree, date of birth, service and salary certificates;
iii) Employment and “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” and “SPONSORSHIP CERTIFICATE” from the
employer in the prescribed Performa.( if employed)
iv) Integrated permanent Community Certificate in case of SC/ST/BC in the prescribed proforma; one from the Revenue Officer and another from the Head of the Institution last studied or from service records.
v) Attested copy of
1). Valid ICET Score card ( if qualified)
2). PGECET-2008 Hall Ticket and Rank Card ( if qualified)
3). Qualifying examination marks memo.
5. The applications duly filled in and complete in all respects together with necessary enclosures (documents) including
Demand Draft, mentioning the programme applied on cover should reach the “Registrar, JNT UNIVERSITY
KAKINADA, Kakinada – 533 003 on or before 05.09.2009 by 4.00 pm.. The candidates are advised to attend
Counseling as per the schedule to be displayed. More number of candidates may attend the counseling then the number of
Seats available and mere attendance at the counseling does not guarantee allotment of a seat.
Applications received after the due date and incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be
entertained in this regard.
6 (a)Registration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
(b)The University reserves the right to make alterations in the intake and rules for admission.
(c)If it is detected that a candidate has been admitted due to any mistake made inadvertently in the processing of
Applications and during the admission stage, the University reserves the right to cancel the seat at any stage.
7. Admission will be closed within one month of the commencement of the first semester class work irrespective of the
Vacancies.
8. If any dispute concerning admissions in the courses of JNTUK arises, the jurisdiction shall remain with the Courts in
Kakinada only and the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
9. The University will not be responsible for postal delay/loss in transit.
